Concorde is opening its doors!
Publication dateOn 25, 26 and 27 September 2026, Concorde – Espace Culture will be opening its doors and invites you to come along.
Two performance theatres, ten dance studios, twelve music rooms and a recording studio form the artistic heart of the complex. A restaurant, a hotel and student accommodation complete this unique space, designed to allow artists, residents and audiences to come together naturally.
To celebrate this opening, everything is free to access for three days. Catch a show, go behind the scenes, take part in a workshop, pop into a studio, chat with the artists and meet the teams. Take the time to let yourself be surprised, to wander around and, why not… to come back.
These three days are an invitation to make this new space your own. To find your place here. To make Concorde a vibrant and welcoming place, just like the people who will bring it to life.
We look forward to welcoming as many of you as possible!

L’Escale (excerpts) | CFC Danse / CFP Arts Genève
The CFC Danse at the CFP Arts presents excerpts from L’Escale, its end-of-year show for 2026. Here, joy and camaraderie matter just as much as the performance itself. Much like the opening of the Concorde, these scenes invite you to come in large numbers and rally round a new generation of performers taking to the stage of the Petite Salle for the very first time.

This Is an Encounter | Marthe Krummenacher and guests
Marthe Krummenacher, accompanied by Cyril Yeterian, invites ten performers onto the stage for This Is an Encounter, a shared moment based on improvisation. A suspended, enchanting moment, somewhere between dance and music, to inaugurate the Grande Salle at Concorde.

Public rehearsals
Avant la nuit / The Firebird | Edouard Hue – Beaver Dam
Company
Ahead of its premiere in autumn 2026, Edouard Hue is holding public rehearsals for his company’s (Beaver Dam Company) new diptych, which explores parenthood between the private sphere and
exposure to the wider world. In Avant la nuit, the bedtime ritual becomes a dance and a space for transmission. Set to Stravinsky’s score, The Firebird examines the mechanisms of confinement and conditioning in childhood, and parenthood as a safeguard against this reality. Two sessions of public rehearsals offer the chance to observe the creative process and immerse oneself in the choreographer’s world.
10.00–15.00 (non-stop)

Mission Concorde | Compagnie Tumultes

As the first contemporary circus company to be invited to perform in the Cour d’honneur of the Palais des Papes in Avignon in 2026, it is currently undertaking one of the largest contemporary circus tours in Europe. Le Grand Rendez-vous is the culmination of its on-site explorations in Vernier: a spectacular acrobatic finale where human pyramids and lifts captivate the Grande Salle. Everyone holds their breath, spellbound by the magic of movement.
8.30 pm–11.00 pm

Happy Hype | OUINCH OUINCH Collective + Mulah
