Accessibility
Concorde is committed to making everyone’s visit as comfortable and accessible as possible.
For guests with reduced mobility
Concorde and its performance spaces are accessible to guests with reduced mobility. For seated performances, our team is on hand to help ensure you have a comfortable and welcoming experience.
To ensure the comfort and independence of disabled audience members and their companions, four designated spaces are available at every performance.
For blind or visually impaired guests
Some accessible performances for blind and visually impaired guests are preceded by touch tours organised by Concorde’s cultural engagement team.
- La politique du pire (touch tour 1.5 hours before the performance on 17 October)
- Chœur des amants (touch tour 1.5 hours before the performance on 3 March)
- On ne jouait pas à la pétanque dans le ghetto de Varsovie (touch tour 1.5 hours before the performance on 20 April)
Audio-described performances:
- Justices (touch tour 1.5 hours before the performances, which include audio description)
Accessible concerts:
Guide dogs are welcome in the performance spaces.
For deaf or hard-of-hearing guests
Concorde is equipped with a state-of-the-art wireless audio system designed to provide optimal listening comfort during performances.
If your hearing aids or headphones are compatible with Bluetooth LE Audio technology, you can connect directly to the venue’s audio stream. The sound from the stage is transmitted instantly to your ears in crystal-clear digital quality.
If not, receiver headphones will also be available at every performance.
Some phones can also receive the audio stream and transmit it to your own headphones. Please ask the reception or box office team for more information.
Relax performances
Relax performances challenge traditional conventions and create more flexible performance conditions, making the performing arts accessible to as many people as possible.
You are free to leave the performance space at any time to take a break or regain your composure. The door remains slightly open, and all reactions are welcomed without judgement.
