What role does our body play in shaping our identity? How does the way others see us alter our own perception of it? In an increasingly virtual world, what becomes of it?

The four performers of Tendre Carcasse shared with choreographer Arthur Perole memories from their teenage years linked to their relationship with their bodies: the insecurities that caused them pain, the intense desire to fit in or to please others – all reflecting the need to conform to societal expectations and roles. On stage, their words intertwine with their movements, then give way to music, taking us on a journey that culminates in a pulsating, dance-filled celebration, where we cast off our burdens and embrace our ambivalences.

Tendre Carcasse is an invitation to regain awareness of our bodies, of their importance and their liberating power, and to rediscover a simple relationship with them.
