Clément Papachristou
Clément Papachristou is an actor, director and playwright. Since 2022, he has been an associate artist at the Théâtre National Wallonie-Bruxelles.
Having graduated from ESACT – the Royal Conservatoire of Liège – in 2014, he quickly developed an interest in inclusive artistic practices involving artists with disabilities and reduced mobility.
Following Almanach, which was staged in 2017 at the Emulation Festival, he presented Une tentative presque comme une autre with his twin brother Guillaume, who has a disability, in 2020 at the Pays de Danses Festival and the Marseille Festival. In 2024, he received the Jury Prize and the Youth Prize at the FastForward Dresden Festival. His third production, La Grotte, premiered in 2021 at the Théâtre Varia in Brussels and the Théâtre de Liège, and was restaged that same year as part of the Scènes nouvelles programme at the Théâtre National Wallonie-Bruxelles. Alongside his creative work, Clément Papachristou is developing, in collaboration with researcher Marie Astier, an international programme of professional and inclusive workshops aimed at professionals, whether or not they have a disability. In 2025, he premiered Justices at the Théâtre National Wallonie-Bruxelles.
