Fernando Melo

A choreographer of Brazilian origin, Fernando Melo has pursued a career in Europe, creating choreographies for major companies such as the Göteborgs Operans Danskompani, the Skånes Dansteater and the Ballet Hispanico in New York.

His works often incorporate magic and stage illusions, enriching dance and opera productions, notably through collaborations with La Monnaie in Brussels and the Royal Danish Opera in Copenhagen. He is known and recognised for his innovative and interdisciplinary approach.
