Rassembler les lucioles
Muriel Imbach
Joy is a complex concept. But it is one that can – and must – inspire us to face the upheavals we are witnessing in the world.
Muriel Imbach and her company, La Bocca della Luna, have chosen to turn this into a force for revolution. Nothing less!
Gathering the Fireflies is the result of a participatory process which, before culminating in the performance itself, takes the form of workshops and invented rituals.
On stage, two performers reflect real-life experiences and share stories from both the grand narrative and the everyday. Very quickly, they draw us into the joy of ‘resistance’. And they seek our complicity so that, perhaps, we might create a collective symbolic gesture together. Get ready to embark on a hybrid experience and enjoy a joyfully transgressive adventure.
La Bocca della Luna theatre company is in residence at Concorde for this production.
