Four women, four stories waiting to be shared. This is RAW, a performance that engages with the audience, during which the portraits of four dancers take shape.

We discover their world – the game – with its violence, its ironic beauty devoid of utopia, but also the hope that emanates from it.

On stage, words join the dance, respond to it, and sometimes merge with it. Together, they describe both the violence and the sisterhood of the hip-hop scene: they recount the codes that underpin this dance, and the freedom these codes generate once they have been internalised.

RAW is a unique show within the hip-hop world. This is because we, the audience, are invited to participate and interact with the dancers. On stage, they open up unreservedly about their passion and their lives. Throughout the performance, a contagious sense of community spreads from the stage to the auditorium.
