Collectif du Feu de dieu

A multidisciplinary company based in Geneva, led by the actress and clown Violeta Hodgers and the dancer Ambre Pini, the Feu de dieu collective brings together artists from the worlds of dance, theatre, clowning and music.

Since 2018, he has been working to create artworks that provoke thought, stir the emotions and bring people together around the ideas of community, joy and social transformation through art.

His artistic work draws inspiration in particular from art in public spaces, an artistic movement driven by the desire to democratise access to art by reaching out to audiences less familiar with the cultural offerings provided by institutions. The occupation and reappropriation of public space is therefore at the heart of the company’s projects, which have taken the form of either daring street installations or ‘all-terrain’ performances aimed at a wide audience.

Driven by a desire to share sensory experiences, to forge new imaginaries and to foster civic engagement, the Feu de Dieu collective seeks to forge an intimate connection with its audience, sharing moments of wondrous strangeness, side-splitting questioning and collective poetic exhilaration.
