Mina Kavani

Mina Kavani was born in Tehran into a family of artists.

She began her career there before being barred from returning to her country in 2013 due to her performance in Sepideh Farsi’s Red Rose.

She was granted political refugee status in France, and subsequently became a French citizen in 2018. She then continued her acting career in both film and theatre. In 2022, she created her first show, I’M DERANGED, which she wrote, directed and performed in. Following this experience, she felt ready to become the voice of her compatriot, whom she had always admired so much: Forough Farrakhzad.
