Sharon Eyal

Sharon Eyal was born in Jerusalem and lives in France. She danced with the Batsheva Dance Company between 1990 and 2008.

Eyal was associate artistic director at Batsheva from 2003 to 2004, and resident choreographer with the same company from 2005 to 2012. During her time there, she created 16 new works.

In 2013, Eyal launched S-E-D (formerly L-E-V) with his long-standing collaborator Gai Behar. Since August 2022, S-E-D has been a French non-profit organisation based in France. S-E-D’s repertoire comprises five productions.
